Getting ready for the Snow Polo World Cup in St Mortiz

2017 will be People of Polo's first year in St Moritz, although it's  going to be exciting the preparation has been quite arduous to ensure we get it right. Booking a place to stay that is not only is in walking distance and has WIFI access so to be able to upload images daily, but also affordable is not such an easy task!

However, I managed to locate a pad for five days so we, I am going with fellow photographer Andrew Yates so that we can be close to the action and after parties. We are looking to make a reportage of the event and post via our site and Social Media.

Getting to the games have also been a point of conversation, we ended up agreeing on driving as the cost to fly, transfers and extra baggage were just a tad too much.

Hey seeing a trend here? Yes, St Moritz attracts people with slightly deeper pockets than us. However, it's the fundamental ethos of the spectacular Snow Polo game, I mean it's the World Cup so let us make an effort here.

I am going to write up various blogs before, during and after the World Cup so to share the adventure with you all. Right, I am off to locate some winter socks as I think I will need them!
